As we are approaching the end of the pool season it's time to set your appointment for a full closing and winterization of your pool or spa. Dynamic Pools and Spas wants to make sure your pool investment is properly prepared for Winter. Care taken now will ensure quick and easy opening in the Spring.

HELPFUL HINT: Make sure that your pool water is correctly pH balanced prior to closing and before the winter cover is put into place. By making sure the pH is balanced your pool water will be in much better condition when opened in the Spring. Proper pH balancing reduces and often eliminates the amount of green algae that is so common in pool water at Spring time opening and cover removal.

 

Here is what we will do when you schedule us to fully close your pool:

  • Power Vacuum Pool (1/2 hr. limit)
  • Skim for Debris
  • Drain Water to Below Returns (except with fiberglass pools)
  • Blow Out All Plumbing Lines
  • Add Antifreeze to Lines
  • Winterize Pump Filter and Heater
  • Shut Off Gas Supply to Heater
  • Remove Deck Equipment
  • Plug Inlets and Skimmers
  • Shock Treat Pool with Chlorine
  • Install Winter Cover - (extra charge for installation of second cover)

* Added charge of $55 if pool has attached waterfall or spa

PARTIAL POOL CLOSING — $190

We also offer the advantage of a partial pool closing for those who want only the hard stuff done! Dynamic Pools and Spas will blow out all plumbing lines; winterize pump, filter and heater; add antifreeze; shock treat the pool with chlorine and plug inlets and skimmers. Customer is responsible for the following: (prior to Dynamic's arrival) vacuum pool; skim debris off surface; drain water below returns and remove deck equipment. And then, after Dynamic leaves – install your winter cover. Note: If cover is installed prior to Dynamic's arrival, make sure that returns, skimmer inlets and outlets are visibly marked with tape on the top of the cover.

SEPARATE SPA CLOSING — Starts at $200 depending upon size.
